Exciting opportunities are available for motivated Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make a meaningful impact in school settings near Mechanicsburg, PA. This contract position begins with a school-age assignment in Dauphin County, Hershey area, running through mid-October. Following this initial phase, further assignments are available, including two maternity leave coverage roles beginning mid-October and mid-December. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience working with school-aged children or early intervention populations welcomed
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect SLP services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Transition smoothly between school-age and early intervention assignments as contract progresses
