This is an exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist ready to support students in Dauphin County near the Hershey area. The role begins with a school-age assignment through mid-October, followed by two upcoming maternity leave placements—one starting mid-October, the other in mid-December. As the year progresses, there’s potential to transition into Early Intervention services within the same county, providing continuity and valuable experience across age groups.
Candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to build school-based experience and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while enjoying variety throughout the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience or strong interest in school-aged settings and/or Early Intervention
- Adaptable and collaborative, able to switch between assignments as needed
- Passionate about helping students communicate and thrive academically
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to school-aged students
- Support students during the initial contract and provide coverage for anticipated maternity leaves
- Transition to Early Intervention, working with younger children alongside families and educational teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
