- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, though motivated new graduates with appropriate credentials are welcome
Your day-to-day will include:
- Assessing and identifying students’ speech and language needs through standardized testing and informal measures
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address each student’s communication goals
- Providing direct therapy, consultation, and support in individual, group, and classroom settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students’ overall educational progress
- Attending IEP meetings, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Offering professional insight and resources to both educational staff and families as part of a holistic team
