Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and specialists
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with student needs and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, progress notes, and end-of-year reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, student interventions, and parent conferences as required
- Provide guidance and resources for teachers and families to support carryover of speech and language skills
