Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Killeen, TX

Make a direct impact supporting students’ communication skills in Texas! This contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists interested in school-based settings, with two openings available in Troy and Bartlett.
Bartlett’s role involves serving the entire district, working with around 40 students that include an elementary life skills caseload as well as general education speech support for middle and high school students. Troy’s opening is full-time, covering the whole district with a focus on a general education student population. Both sites welcome Clinical Fellows and will provide valuable supervision, creating an excellent environment for both experienced SLPs and recent graduates.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFs are encouraged to apply
- State licensure (or eligibility) in Texas
- School-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP experience beneficial
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
- Passion for working with diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students with a variety of needs, from elementary life skills to general education
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Serve the entire school district, tailoring intervention and support to your assigned caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress
