Skills and Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
  • Experience in a school setting and/or teletherapy environment
  • Comfortable working with students of various ages and backgrounds
  • Strong ability to assess, develop, and implement IEPs
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals, both in-person and remotely
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to monitor student progress
  • Document sessions, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to help shape individualized student plans
  • Provide consultation, support, and resources to school staff and families
