Pre-School Elementary Speech and Language Pathologist in Swansboro, NC

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Possess, or eligible for, NCBOESLPA license
- Strong foundation in pediatric and educational speech-language services (CFY and CCC applicants encouraged)
- Experience coordinating services and facilitating communication among educational stakeholders
- Background in evidence-based practice for speech, language, and hearing interventions
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, formal/informal assessments, and collaborate with others to gather diagnostic information
- Analyze data and make recommendations for speech-language services
- Plan and implement interventions for individuals and small groups
- Provide consultation and program information to parents, teachers, and school personnel
- Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic reports
- Collaborate with teachers and analyze service impact on student learning
This ten-month contract position offers the opportunity to grow as a practitioner while ensuring students reach their full communicative potential. The role requires frequent movement, including standing, sitting, walking, and occasional lifting. Driving between campuses is expected.
