Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Wilmington, NC

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Proficiency or high interest in teletherapy delivery
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable with both individual and small group work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals, including direct and consultative services, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective intervention and support
- Maintain meticulous records and progress notes in compliance with regulations and district policies
- Provide guidance for classroom strategies and integration of therapy into academic instruction
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing professional development
