Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA)
- Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to travel between two school sites as part of the daily schedule
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and IEP goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support student growth in classroom participation, social development, and academic success
