Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY)
- Prior experience delivering pediatric and school-based SLP services preferred
- Strong ability to address the unique needs of elementary and middle school-aged children
- Familiarity with the ECATS system (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in alignment with IEP requirements
- Manage a caseload averaging 30 students, primarily in elementary and middle school
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication and language goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using the ECATS system
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Use provided therapy materials and resources to achieve optimal outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews as needed
