Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold or be eligible for a NCBOESLPA license
- Solid grasp of childhood speech, language, and hearing development
- Experience with pediatric and school-based SLP services, including those pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Knowledge of communication disorders, Federal/State regulations, and school protocols
- Strong ability to collaborate, keep detailed records, and foster positive relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and plan evidence-based interventions for students
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare reports
- Provide guidance to parents, teachers, and staff
- Review and adjust intervention strategies for optimum student progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to deliver comprehensive services
- Travel between school sites as needed and actively engage with the school community
