Starting August 7, 2026, and running through May 27, 2027, you'll work onsite according to the school calendar, providing essential speech-language services to a caseload and age group to be determined. Enjoy a balanced schedule with 35 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 7 hours a day plus a half-hour unpaid lunch).
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for Louisiana state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Commitment to meeting all credentialing standards, including drug screening and fingerprinting
- School-based experience is a plus, but passionate early-career clinicians are also encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and evaluations for students based on their individualized needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive, effective intervention plans
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation according to district and legal requirements
- Foster a positive, communicative, and inclusive learning environment
