Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligibility for state SLP licensure
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or completing CFY
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Eagerness to work in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine the presence of speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs
- Deliver therapy services individually or in small groups, focusing on student growth and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Document ongoing student progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and insight for student development
