Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA)
- Experience in a school setting, ideally with middle school students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Passion for supporting student growth and advocating for speech and language needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades 5-8
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to foster student progress
- Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultative support and resources to staff to encourage inclusive classroom practices
