Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state license or eligibility to obtain one for California
- Bilingual skills required; experience gathering linguistic and cultural background information is a plus
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide evidence-based therapy for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, faculty, and families to support individualized student needs
- Collect and report detailed information about students’ bilingual backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based intervention programs
