Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Fluency in a second language; experience working with bilingual populations strongly preferred
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
- Conduct screenings and evaluations, document progress, and prepare reports as required
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
