Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kelso, WA
Bring your expertise and passion for supporting students’ communication needs to a welcoming elementary school environment located near Kelso, WA. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a dynamic assignment covering a maternity leave from mid-November 2026 through late January 2027. You’ll have the flexibility to provide services virtually or onsite, making a meaningful difference for students with a variety of needs.
You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 50 elementary students, including those supported by resource programs and the RISE program for children with moderate disabilities. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and families, fostering communication skills that help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Washington SLP License and ESA certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience with school-age caseloads, ideally in elementary settings
- Familiarity with supporting students who have moderate disabilities
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and IEP implementation
- Comfortable delivering services both virtually and in-person
