Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt approach for a broad K-12 age and ability range
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Adapt interventions and therapy materials to address diverse student learning needs
