As a key contributor to the school’s special services team, you’ll empower students to communicate confidently and achieve their academic goals. Your expertise will help with assessments, direct therapy, and collaboration with educators and families to support each child’s unique communication needs.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Prior experience working in school settings and with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping students succeed
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings when scheduled on your chosen workday
