This contract position is located onsite near Keller, TX, easily accessible from Fort Worth, Watauga, and surrounding communities. Enjoy a dedicated work schedule—Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to around 4:30 pm—with a manageable caseload and supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills
- Comfortable overseeing SLPA’s and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Supervise assigned Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA’s) and provide guidance as needed
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting interventions and supports accordingly
- Maintain thorough and accurate records for each student on caseload (54 direct, 14 consult)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other specialists, and families to promote student success
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and help determine readiness for discharge from therapy
