Experience a rewarding contract role working on-site in the southwest Houston area, supporting students in middle or high school as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Step into a setting where your expertise directly impacts students’ communication and academic progress, with school assignments thoughtfully chosen to minimize your commute.

In this full-time opportunity, you will collaborate with a supportive team to deliver comprehensive SLP services, including therapy interventions, ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) participation, and engaging in speech-language assessments. Choose between grades 6-8 or 10-12 based on your preference and work with a caseload of 50–60 students, ensuring meaningful interactions and measurable progress throughout the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and active TX SLP license required (please submit an image of your license with your application)
  • FL licensure also required
  • Experience in a school environment highly desired
  • Thorough knowledge of full-scope SLP duties: delivering therapy sessions, conducting assessments and evaluations, participating in ARDs, and managing documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for supporting students’ academic and personal growth
  • Flexibility to work on-site and travel between assigned campuses if needed

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language therapy for diverse student populations
  • Complete and maintain case documentation, progress notes, and assessment reports
  • Participate actively in ARD meetings and contribute clinical expertise to IEP development
  • Administer and interpret speech-language assessments as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related services professionals

This role offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) throughout the academic year, in a positive learning environment that values your skills and commitment.
