School Speech Language Pathologist - Katy, Texas
Step into a rewarding role supporting students in the Houston area as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year! This opportunity offers the chance to work on-site with middle or high school students, with flexibility to tailor your caseload to grades 6-8 or 10-12—whatever best aligns with your expertise and preference. If you’re passionate about enabling students to communicate with confidence, your skills and dedication will be highly valued.
You’ll be responsible for a caseload of 50-60 students, conducting the full range of SLP duties. This includes therapy sessions, assessments, IEP/ARD participation, and testing. If you are interested in a more specialized focus, the position can also be shaped to concentrate on providing supervision. New graduates working on their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) applications are encouraged to apply for this contract position, which prioritizes thoughtful school assignments based on your ZIP code.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas and Florida SLP state licensure (image of license required)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and CFYs
- Experience with middle and/or high school student populations preferred
- Comfortable with therapy, assessments, ARDs, and overall SLP responsibilities
- Willingness to complete Texas Education fingerprinting (if not already in the system)

- Full-time assignment: 37.5 hours per week
- On-site, contract position from August 11, 2026, to May 26, 2027
