School Speech Language Pathologist - Jacksonville, FL

Scheduled for two full days each week (totaling 16 hours), you’ll collaborate with a supportive staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services within a school-based setting. The assignment begins in August and extends through the end of the academic year, making it ideal for professionals seeking stability with flexibility.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as required
- Experience evaluating and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Previous work with school-aged populations, especially middle and high school students, preferred
- Ability to create engaging therapy strategies tailored to individual needs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, predominantly in grades 6-12
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans customized to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Consult with families to foster communication carryover at home
