Speech Language Pathologist in Irvine, CA
Step into a fulfilling opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in vibrant school settings throughout the San Juan Capistrano area. Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting encouraged
- Strong commitment to helping diverse student populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering therapy to students (average caseload of about 55 students per SLP)
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborating with educational staff to integrate therapy into the school curriculum
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and school district policies
- Communicating regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
