Speech Language Pathologist in Indio, CA

The focus is currently on an onsite role, with strong preference for those passionate about serving PreK students. Your expertise in school-based SLP services (CCC required), bilingual Spanish skills, or willingness to work with mild to moderate needs (with some severe cases and AAC devices) can help shape students’ academic and personal success. Experience with SEIS and California Medicaid (Paradigm) is highly valued. New graduates completing their clinical fellowship will find strong support here.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech-language therapy onsite to PreK–12 students, focusing on PreK as a top priority.
- Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for a range of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Complete and maintain required documentation (SEIS, Medicaid/Paradigm) efficiently.
- Adapt to an itinerant schedule, working across multiple campuses within the district if needed.
- Utilize AAC devices for students who benefit from assisted communication.
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills highly preferred, though monolingual candidates welcomed.
- Prior school-based SLP or pediatric experience preferred.
- Familiarity with SEIS and Medicaid billing systems a plus.
