Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting PreK–5th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming academic year. This contract role offers you the chance to make a significant impact through onsite services—with some flexibility for virtual options—helping children in and around the Hurlock, MD area.
In this position, you’ll serve elementary-aged students with a caseload requiring 60 service hours per month. Your expertise will play a key role in helping students develop essential communication and language skills for academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- Previous experience working in Maryland schools highly preferred
- Comfortable delivering services both onsite and through teletherapy, as needed
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to PreK–5th grade students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Work with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective strategies
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student programming
