What we seek:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Knowledge of speech, language, social communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders in children
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to students’ diverse needs
What you’ll do:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with each student's IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support each learner’s progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required
- Engage in school meetings, IEP conferences, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to student and staff education around communication strategies and resources
