What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy (serving PK–12 students preferred)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students efficiently
- Flexibility to work across 1-2 assigned campuses, including elementary, middle, high school settings, or specialized programs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and provide targeted therapy to PK–12 students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services onsite (no virtual assignments)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and fellow SLPs in a supportive, multi-campus environment
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques and schedules based on student needs and strengths
This contract runs from August 6th to May 28th, following the academic calendar, with a standard 37.5-hour work week. Assignments are thoughtfully made based on your strengths and preferences—supporting one or two campuses, with PK, elementary, middle, high school, or specialized program options.
