Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs encouraged to apply
- Understanding of IEP process and ability to conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments
- Familiarity with assistive communication technology and evidence-based interventions for school-aged populations
- Effective collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and staff
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and manage IEPs in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educational teams to support student learning
- Offer training, strategies, and resources to staff and families
- Maintain clear, timely records and progress reports
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as required
