Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Previous experience with school-aged populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and deliver targeted intervention plans tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor student progress and adapt recommendations as needed
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with developments in the field
