This contract opportunity offers a fulfilling way to serve students while advancing your professional experience throughout the full school year.
Your week consists of four days—enjoy Mondays off! Work Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, while managing a caseload of 32-36 students across a range of grade levels. You'll collaborate with staff and play a key role in supervising SLPAs, ensuring quality care and fostering growth within your team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Leadership skills to effectively supervise SLPAs
- Ability to adapt to a rural school setting and engage with students of varying ages and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop intervention plans, and manage IEPs for eligible students
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions, both direct and consultative
- Provide oversight, mentorship, and supervision for SLPAs on staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting for student services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for learners at all ability levels
