Job Description:

  • The Sign Language Interpreter will translate for a deaf and hard-of-hearing student utilizing spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL). Responsibilities may include interpreting parent conferences, IEP meetings, tests, classroom lessons and other school functions.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a minimum score of 3.5 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA)
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language interpretation for children and adolescents in educational settings
