Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current South Carolina SLP license and Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong passion for early childhood development and collaborative team approaches
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct speech-language therapy to preschoolers
- Collaborate closely with two other on-site SLPs, teachers, and families to support each child’s unique needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Provide parent education and staff in-service sessions to promote carryover and awareness
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize outcomes
