Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (state-appropriate)
- Master's degree from an accredited SLP program
- Experience working with children or in school environments is highly valued
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support personnel
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP objectives
- Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide recommendations and resources to educators and families to support carryover of skills
- Offer support and education to staff and parents about developmental milestones, interventions, and strategies
