Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Connecticut SLP licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Proven experience working in school-based settings, particularly with high school students, is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff on student goals, accommodations, and service delivery models
- Attend IEP meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and regularly report on student progress
