Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also welcome to apply
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings, ideally with high school populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and individual learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy to high school students according to IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support generalization of communication strategies throughout the school environment
  • Adjust approaches to address individual student strengths, challenges, and goals
