Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure required for school-based SLPs
- Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting
- Familiarity with virtual/teletherapy platforms preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Tech-savvy with reliable internet access
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students virtually
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations remotely
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide consultation and support for teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies
- Adapt therapy sessions to meet the individual needs and goals of each student
