Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-age children, including IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in a school setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
