Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a contract position supporting school-aged students in the Haverhill area. This assignment focuses on enhancing students’ communication abilities and supporting their academic success in a collaborative educational environment. The position is full-time, onsite only, and runs through June 14, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Massachusetts SLP License required
- Massachusetts Department of Education educator certification required
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress towards IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups, in alignment with mandated supports
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and school support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and provide recommendations regarding communication needs
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and reports
