In this rewarding full-time contract opportunity, make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year. This position consists of 37.5 hours per week and involves providing speech-language services across multiple grade levels, depending on your experience. The community you'll serve is diverse, with a strong bilingual population—approximately 90% of students are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese. Bilingual SLPs are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Strongly prefer candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Experience or comfort working with diverse populations, particularly in school settings
- Licensure eligibility for state practice
- Proven ability to adapt services based on individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches as needed
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
