Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with early elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress-monitoring abilities
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to K-2nd grade students
- Administer screenings and evaluations, compile clear assessment reports, and develop individualized goals
- Provide therapy sessions focused on language, articulation, and social communication
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Keep accurate documentation of services, assessments, and progress
- Act as a resource for colleagues, offering support, strategies, and expertise on campus
