Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure upon hire)
- Spanish language fluency required; experience providing speech/language services in both English and Spanish
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments in both English and Spanish
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective implementation of therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Stay current on best practices for bilingual and culturally responsive therapy
