Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure upon hire)
  • Spanish language fluency required; experience providing speech/language services in both English and Spanish
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy sessions to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments in both English and Spanish
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective implementation of therapy strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
  • Stay current on best practices for bilingual and culturally responsive therapy
