Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered
- Bilingual proficiency—fluent in both Spanish and English, both spoken and written
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for multicultural and multilingual students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions based on each student’s IEP goals
- Document student progress, maintain records, and prepare reports for colleagues and families
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to support student development
- Adapt and modify therapy to effectively support bilingual learners, with a culturally responsive approach
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based educational planning
