Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Demonstrated fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Previous experience providing speech services in a school setting is strongly valued
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions, adjusting approaches to meet diverse cultural and linguistic needs
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student support
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with educational and legal requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute specialized input
- Provide resources and strategies for bilingual students and their families to promote language development
