Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Bilingual proficiency, with fluency in both English and Spanish
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of culturally responsive assessments and interventions
- Ability to assess and provide direct services to a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in line with school and district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a bilingual resource for families and school staff
- Provide culturally relevant resources and strategies for students who are English learners
