Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (Spanish fluency required)
- Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in both English and Spanish to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy sessions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Provide consultation and resources for staff and parents regarding language development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions as required
