Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oakland, CA

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Demonstrated ability to provide therapy and assessments in both English and Spanish
- Experience working with school-aged children, including individualized education plan (IEP) development and collaboration with teachers
- Strong interpersonal and cultural competence skills to bridge communication across diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including bilingual assessments in English and Spanish
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in coordination with the student support team
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educators and family members
- Document progress, maintain required records, and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Provide support and training to staff and families on effective communication strategies
