Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students near Meriden, CT. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering 36.25 hours per week in a school-based environment.

Work closely with 2-3 classrooms, each with 6-8 students, delivering essential speech and language services directly to those who need it most. You will play a vital role in helping students succeed academically and socially by assessing, diagnosing, and supporting their communication needs. With no SLPAs on staff, your expertise will be central to students’ progress and growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut
  • Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Comfortable providing direct services to K-12 students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in multiple classrooms
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and parents to support students' needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Provide direct therapy sessions and participate in IEP meetings as needed
