Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with IEPs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and speech/language evaluations for students referred by staff or parents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation, including progress notes and IEP paperwork, in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations for student success
- Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to ethical practices in all aspects of service delivery
