Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in North Carolina
- Prior experience working in K-12 schools preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and communicate regularly with families, teachers, and administrators
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, progress reports, and ongoing assessments
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and participation
