Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state SLP licensure and eligibility to work in school settings
- Prior experience working in pediatric or K-12 educational environments preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop creative and individualized therapy solutions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs, adhering to state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student development and maximize educational opportunities
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Provide direct therapy in both individual and small group settings
- Educate and train staff and families as needed to enhance student outcomes
